The video Synthetic partially includes communal material gathered from three participants of the A'21 Lab - Amirali Ghasemi, Eda Sütunç and Forough Fami- and poses a distrust for the information flow in the digital media. As interfaces are self-referentially disrupted by an audiovisual interaction with their codes, this new hybrid look formed by a deconstructive approach turns out to be a new interface imagery. The video has an experimental nature collaging the ideas of desensitization to facts via extreme use of digital media and searching for poetry in information technologies by privileging what things actually are independent from human perception over how we interpret them in order to avoid the ignorance a post-truth culture may cause.
